The purpose of the Early Childhood Educators of Color (ECEOC) study is to understand the unique experiences of educators of color in early care and education (ECE) programs located in various contexts. Through both a nation-wide survey and individual interviews, this study examines the organizational environment and well-being of early childhood educators of color. Additionally, this study seeks to identify strategies to provide adequate support and resources for early childhood educators of color.
The findings from this study will help us better understand the unique experiences of early childhood educators of color and provide insights into how we can support and sustain a diverse ECE workforce, creating a more equitable and effective learning environment for young children.
